In the mood for something sweet? Something crunchy? These churro chips are just that! Not to mention, they are SO easy to make.

While the recipe doesn’t have too much to it, the main ingredient is corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are an easy gluten free alternative to regular flour tortillas and are full of fiber and magnesium.

I was inspired to make these one night after watching a TikTok by @ballehurns where she showed how she makes her own chips.

These babies are crunchy, cinnamon-y, and remind me of a churro in chip form – hence the name. Please let me know if you try the recipe and be sure to enjoy! 🙂

Ingredients

  • 4 corn tortillas
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400° F.
  • Spray a 9×13 sheet pan with your favorite cooking spray.
  • Cut 4 corn tortillas into equal fourths. Lay each slice on pan about 1/2 inch apart.

  • Coat each side of tortilla slice with extra virgin olive oil. Drizzle 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsbp honey, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon evenly on top of uncooked slices.
  • Bake in oven for 10 minutes. When done, let cool and enjoy!
