I bet we’ve all tried hummus at some point, but how about dessert hummus? This brownie batter dessert hummus is sure to curb your sweet tooth and replace any sweet chocolate spreads or dips going forward.

This dessert hummus is made of 6 simple ingredients and is super easy to make! It is also packed with protein due to the chickpea/garbanzo bean base.

Chickpeas/garbanzo beans are a legume that have a nutty flavor, as they are in the peanut family. Chickpeas are high in fiber, which is very beneficial to your gut due to the digestion aid it provides.

All you need to make this recipe is a food processor or something similar to purée the ingredients together.

Recently, I got the Ninja Foodi Power Blender. & Processor System. If you don’t have a food processor, are in the market for a new blender, or are interested in a 3-in-1 mixer, you HAVE to check out this Ninja Foodi Blender! It is a blender, food processor, and dough mixer all in one! It worked absolutely amazing as a food processor to make this hummus – everything was mixed in under 2 minutes! I can’t recommend it enough.

After making this recipe, I recommend placing the finished product in the fridge to chill before eating.

This dessert hummus can used as a spread, eaten with other foods, incorporated into different recipes, or eaten by the spoon full (it’s that good!).

Personally, my favorite ways to eat this dessert hummus are with fruit or spread on gluten free toast. Canyon Bakehouse is an amazing brand that has really great gluten free bread. I love their Country White Gluten Free Bread and their Ancient Grain Gluten Free Bread. Let me know how you eat this brownie dessert hummus in the comments! Enjoy!! 🙂
